“Central Reserve Police Force” is a specialised Central armed police force, with a broad range of responsibilities. The CRPF, primarily comprises a well-trained and disciplined force of 1.3 million soldiers and paramilitary jawans which performs internal security, counter insurgency, forest and anti-Naxal operations, in the country as well as abroad, at various levels of intensity. Organisation: CRPF is divided into four main divisions- CRPF Force Battalion, CRPF Zonal Force, Corps of Armed Reserve and Central Industrial Security Force.
