AFCAT is conducted for entry to the Air Force aspirants who have passed their 12th examination from any recognised board. The aspirants need to have passed the 12th standard examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. Only those who have passed the 12th board examination with minimum 55% marks in each of these subjects are eligible to apply. AFCAT Paper Structure A total of 175 questions are to be asked for each subject. The Paper is of 3 hours duration and it has 120 questions in English Language, 60 in Mathematics, 60 in Logical Reasoning, and 60 in Physics. Last year, there were 578 candidates in the Roll of women.

Every year, every new member of Indian Air Force gets admitted to a certain flying branch. The list of branches includes fighter, transport, attack, reconnaissance, liaison, and maintenance branches. The exam is conducted by an examination conducting organization called Indian Air Force Exams & Assessment Board (IAFEAB). AFCAT Exam Duration Usually, AFCAT examination starts at 09:00 AM and concludes at 17:00 PM. The exam duration is 90 minutes, with 50 marks for the questions.

You should have basic knowledge on UNIX before appearing the exam. Moreover, you must be a computer literate person. If you are not having any specific knowledge of computers you are not able to clear the exam. Also, you must read the pre-exam and the post-exam analysis carefully.
